Features:  

LeaseByTel allows you to lease a number of vehicles ranging from Porsches to Fords and provides delivery to all 50 states. We were mostly impressed with LeaseByTel, however, they did lack a few of the essential features we’ve come to expect from great Auto Leasing companies.

One of the things we particularly liked was that they allow you to trade in your current vehicle to make up for a part of your lease. This is a great tool, especially if your vehicle is already paid off. A trade in option can help you lower your monthly payments—always a good thing. LeaseByTel also allows consumer to purchase the vehicle they are using at the end of the leasing period. While this is a good feature for those consumers who’ve fallen in love with their leased vehicle, we usually discourage purchasing your leased car, primarily because it negates the biggest lure of Auto Leasing, being in a fresh care every few years.

Some of the features we would have like to see is GAP coverage insurance, some lease specials, and possibly some other incentives to make LeaseByTel stand out.

Ease Of Use:  

When it comes to Website structure and navigability, LeaseByTel is a pretty good company. Their site is clear and concise, offering users background information on the company and sample leases designed to show consumers hypothetical monthly lease payments. However, LeaseByTel does not offer additional information about leasing like our top rated products. We would have liked to see articles or something other than FAQs which could give consumers additional information about leasing. This is important because most consumers know very little about leasing and need the background to make an informed decision.

However, we were impressed with LeaseByTel’s ability to find most cars and deliver them quickly to your home or place of work. This service is much better than the middle man services which require you to set things up through a car dealership. LeaseByTel also offers free lease quotes on as many vehicles as you would like to inquire about.

Potential End Of Lease Costs:  

LeaseByNet, like all other Auto Leasing companies, has its share of end of lease costs. These costs differ depending on each individual lease agreement and will be worked out before any papers are signed. The most common fee people see is a Wear and Tear fee. This charge is for any damages inflicted upon the vehicle upon its return. If during the lease you get into an accident but get everything fixed, you’ll be OK. But if you get into an accident and leave the bumper dented, you’ll have to pay a nice fee.

LeaseByNet also charges a fee if you exceed your designated mileage. Whenever you lease a vehicle you are given a certain number of miles you must stay under each year. You can also choose unlimited mileage for an increased monthly payment. These fees are burdensome, but avoidable. By getting your car checked regularly and watching the mileage you can avoid most end of lease costs.
 

Help/Support:  

At the top of every page on LeaseByTel’s Website there is a big text box with a toll-free number. They also provide an email address, a snail mail address and a fax number. An FAQ section can be found in the left nav on all pages. We found the FAQ section to be very helpful in answering general questions.

LeaseByTel covers all of the essential features you’d want from an Auto Leasing company. You get door-to-door delivery, trade in options, free lease quotes, and good prices; an all around great deal. We were also very impressed with LeaseByTel’s customer service. We feel confident that you will have no troubles getting the answers you need if they are not already available in the FAQ section.
